We will have our annual Christmas Party this year from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 20th, at Kowkabany’s Family Martial Arts Center in our Tampa, Florida location. In addition to enjoying the company of your fellow Students and Instructors, this will also be a Family Movie Night!! Just a reminder, we will not have any classes on Thursday, just the party, and it will be our last day to gather in 2012 as we prepare to close for our annual Christmas break. We have a food sign-up list in the school, and you should feel free to bring anything that you feel like sharing– from homemade dishes to desserts to chips and dip. After we gather at 6 and start eating (arriving late is fine for those who can’t make it that early), we will start the Christmas movie at 6:30. Our movie will be Disney’s “The Santa Clause,” so it will be appropriate for all ages. It will be a chilly evening, so please feel free to dress casually! For enjoying the movie, we suggest that you bring a blanket and a few pillows, as we will be watching a Christmas movie while sitting on the training floor. While we see each other on a daily and weekly basis, this is a rare chance for everyone to gather and get to know each other better in a more relaxed environment, without the restrictions of being in class or rushing on and off the floor. Our Adult Students are just as successful and hard-working in their careers as they are on the training floor. Our Karate Kids are genuinely sweet and kind children, disciplined enough to follow the rules, but still childlike enough to know how to have FUN! We may be a bit biased in our judgment, but we truly believe that Team Kowkabany has been blessed with the most wonderful families anywhere! If we don’t get the chance to tell you in person, on behalf of the staff of Kowkabany’s Family Martial Arts, we want to thank all of you, our students and their families, for your continued support! May our Lord bless each and every one of you with a Christmas filled with joy and His peace! PS. Thank you to Marcelo Rescala for the really cool photo of our school!
