Free Women’s Self-Defense Seminar
Kowkabany’s Family Martial Arts will be offering a FREE Women’s Self-Defense Seminar on Saturday, March 18th. This seminar is a community event, and is open to girls and women of high school age and up. As there is a limit as to how many we can teach in any one clinic, if you are interested in attending, you will want to confirm your attendance as soon as possible. Simple workout attire or comfortable clothes will be fine for this event.
This clinic will be a mixed training session of physical techniques (striking targets, working with partners, and training in groups) to discussing how to implement preventive measures at home, during travel and in public spaces.
The physical training will be based on the simple, reality-based self-defense techniques used by the Warrior Krav Maga system. For those who haven’t trained in the martial arts before, you will find that learning the basics of self-defense can be very empowering as well as fun… it also offers a great deal more variety than training in a gym.
