KFMA hosts US Law Shield Gun Law Workshop

If you own a firearm, or have trained with any legal weapon for self-defense purposes, then you should know that self-defense in today’s world requires more than just physical training, it requires that you stay knowledgeable of the current laws. For 20 years, Kowkabany’s Family Martial Arts has served the Westchase, Oldsmar and Tampa communities with expert instruction in traditional martial arts and reality-based self-defense. As part of our commitment to providing our students with this same level of expertise in regards to using weapons, we have invited U.S. Law Shield to put on a Gun Law Workshop on May 7, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm.

While many who practice Every Day Carry are familiar with U.S.L.S., for those who aren’t, here is what you can expect. This workshop is a three-hour seminar that includes a presentation as well as question-and-answer segments with a Law Enforcement Officer and a Florida-based attorney who specializes in Florida gun law, both civil and criminal.

This workshop is open to all members of the community, as well as all KFMA students and family members. Registration is simple, and the cost of this three-hour seminar is only $10. In addition to the expert instruction, all  attendees will receive a workbook,  “When Can I Legally Shoot? Knowing The Law Of Deadly Force.”
